The Festival of the Sun is a celebratory event celebrated by the people of Soleana in honor of Solaris.
History
The Festival of the Sun was seemingly first put into practice some 10 or less years ago, as a ways of honoring Solrais, most likely out of fear of his wrath.
Events
The festival starts with several fire works being shot into the sky. Several denizens of Soleana gather to watch as their monarch, Princess Elise, uses the ceremonial torch to light up a stand, giving thanks to Solaris and praying for peace.
There also appear to be several woman who dance during the festival in coreographed manners.
However, due to the festival being interuptted by Dr. Eggman early on, the exact nature of the festival is not known.
