Fajar is a character that appears in Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. He is a child from Shanazar and a member of the Imperial Guards, who acts as a container for one of the Mystic Genies.

History

Up to five years ago, Fajar traveled to the Mystic Mountain and became the host to one of the Mystic Genies. While Fajar was able to command his genie as he pleased, the time with this power greatly disfigured him, giving him the appearance of an old man. When the Imperial Guards tried to capture Sonic upon orders from the Grand Vizier, Fajar released his genie and ordered him to "deal with" Sonic. The genie obliged, knocking him out.

Trivia

• Fajar's name may derive from "Jafar", the master of a genie from Disney's Aladdin.
