Extra

Extra is an ability that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a type of Emerald Power that gives the player a new move depending on the character they are playing as.

Extra is an Emerald Power where each character can use a unique ability.

Overview[]

In Sonic Superstars, Extra is an Emerald Power that is unlocked upon obtaining the gray Chaos Emerald. In gameplay, it allows the player to use their own unique ability when pressing the power button (/).

Sonic – Homing Attack: Unlocks the Homing Attack from the modern titles, but works slightly different.
Tails – Tornado Spin: Unlocks a devastating tornado attack that can destroy enemies in front of them.
Amy – Hammer Throw: Unlocks the ability for Amy to throw hammers instead of the usual Hammer Swing.
Knuckles – Punch: Unlocks the ability to punch for Knuckles.
Trip - Fire Breath: Unlocks the ability for Trip to breathe bouncing fireballs.
