While out training with Tails, Sonic told Tails a ghost story about the Evil Duck at the bonfire in the middle of the night. According to Sonic, the Evil Duck was once a very evil spirit who decided to take the form of a duck. Later at night, Tails would dream about the Evil Duck's face appearing on the surface of the Moon, where it would catch a bypassing bat with its tongue and devour it. Tails later imagined a similar image of the Evil Duck while he was trying to run away from a luminescent Antoine, whom he had mistaken for a ghost.[1]

The Evil Duck is a very evil creature who smiles ominously at his victims.[1]
