Espio-Zilla is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-off comic series published by Archie Comics. He is an alternate version of Espio the Chameleon from an alternate version of Mobius.
Appearance
Initially, Espio looked identical to Espio Prime. After being mutated by Chaos Energy, however, Espio-Zilla grew to colossal heights and went through a change in other features, gaining red eyes, long claw-like nails, longer canines, more pronounced muscles and scalier skin.
History
Espio originally lived on Knothole Island. When he was exposed to the fallout from a Chaotomic energy test on the island, Espio was mutated into a hideous, gigantic rampaging creature. He would then become a threat to the people of Kintopolis, attacking the city on at least one occasion.[1]
Powers and abilities
Following his mutation, Espio-Zilla gained unprecedented physical might to match his size, enough to easy lit and crush military vehicles with his bare hands.[1]
