This is the transcript of the Sonic Prime episode, "Escape from New Yoke".

[Scene: Hedgehog's Pass]

[The caption BEFORE PRISM SHATTER appears.]

Knuckles: Where's Sonic? [Punching approaching Badniks.] How long does it take to collect rings? I thought we were doing this together.

[He punches one Badnik over to Amy who hammers it.]

Amy: Sure would be nice if he'd stick to the plan.

[Hammers one Caterkiller but gets hit by the other. The large Caterkiller growls back at her, only for Rouge to step in and kick it away and break.]

Rouge: Tell me about it. No gem is worth me losing my wings.

[She kicks away two more Buzz Bombers. She then sees a drone spiraling around her, controlled by Tails.]

Tails: Don't worry, guys, Sonic will show. I know he will. [The drone hits several Badniks in a row. Waiting, he groans] I just hope it's in time.

[While he flies, the drone defeats a Caterkiller. Meanwhile Sonic watches on.]

Sonic: Oh, no. My friends. Look, Shadow, I'm late for...

[Shadow punches him.]

Shadow: Learn to focus.

[Sonic - giddy with Flickies circling him - suddenly gasps in horror.]

Sonic: Oh, no! [Pointing overhead.] Eggman!

Shadow: Huh?

[The Flickies leave and Sonic spin dashes Shadow into the wall. He peels out in the other direction.]

Sonic: Hate to hit and run, but I gotta split, Shadow.

[Winks as he runs. Ring sounds play as soon as he collects rings. The rocks rumble for a few moments until Shadow breaks them open. He growls as he shows his action pose. In an orange aura, he dashes along the field, sending Big - who was just whistling and walking along wearing sandals - spinning in mid-air and landing on his backside, dropping his fishing rod.]

Big: Whoa... uh... Shadow?

[He dashes past the crater of a broken-down robot and up the wall beside the crack, spin-attacking and breaking more rocks.]

[The opening theme plays]

[Scene Change: New Yoke City]

[The caption NOW appears. Sonic is stuck to a wall via Rusty Rose's extended arm. Crosshairs from Rusty Rose's screen lock on to Sonic's head.]

Rusty Rose: Terminate.

[She prepares a flying fist and launches it in an attempt to attack Sonic. However, the servos whirs and the fist stalls just as it is about to hit Sonic's head. While Rusty Rose shakes, behind her is Tails Nine typing on the keypad. The screen shows Rusty's Rose's status, in which they all turn green.]

Computer: Now paired. [He picks up his scanner and configures it. Rebel Rouge comes in and takes out a robot behind him and he aims his scanner. The light on Rusty Rose's eye turns yellow.]

Rusty Rose: New admin privileges, colon, backslash, backslash, affirmative, now paired.

[Scene Change: Yoke HQ]

[A ringing tone plays on Dr. Don't's gadget as the Chaos Council look at the screen.]

Mr. Dr. Eggman: Huh? "Paired"? What does she mean, "paired"?

[Scene Change: New Yoke City]

Sonic: Amy, are you... you?

Tails Nine: No, she's still a Chaos Council tool of destruction. [A battle involving Rebel Rouge is going on behind him.] Lucky for you, I'm in control of the robot now. You're welcome. Attack!

[Rusty Rose drops Sonic - causing him to fall - and prepares for combat. A swarm of Eggforcers stream in past the door. She double-arms one robot, somersaults and lands a handstand in between the rest of them. She then stretches her legs out wide and twirls them around like a propeller, knocking out the other robots.]

[Scene Change: Yoke HQ]

Dr. Done-It: [Clenches his fist in annoyance] What in the name of omelets have they done with Rusty? To the security room!

[The rest of the Council race towards the security room along with some Eggforcers, while Dr. Done-It slowly walks and mumbles alone with his walking stick towards the security room. Rusty Rose pushes down a rising platform full of Eggforcers, landing with a crash. Meanwhile the Council make a right turn and enter the room. Mr. Dr. Eggman moves the baby out of the way and uploads the footage on the screen. They see a platform burst into flames, the same one from which they deployed their Eggforcers, and a rising Rusty Rose, showing an intimidating look with extended legs. The camera pans to Sonic - holding his breath - with a laser cutting towards him.]

Sonic: Whoa...!

[He sees it and ducks in the nick of time. Meanwhile, Dr. Done-It makes it to the entrance of the security room.]

Dr. Done-It: Tell ya what, if I had my...

[The laser - now from a virtual view - cuts everything as it travels around in a circle, including another swarm of Eggforcers just as they walk past the door.]

Tails Nine: Rusty Rose, close that door.

[She clangs another group of Eggforcers and somersaults her way to the door. With all her might, she closes the large door. Renegade Knucks appears.]

Renegade Knucks: Uh... she's with us now?

Tails Nine: Duh!

[The Council scream. Rusty Rose punches and breaks a code system by the side of the door. Sonic appears, grabbing Renegade Knucks, Rebel Rouge, Rusty Rose and Tails Nine together in a group hug.]

Sonic: We did it! Bring it in, fam!

[They all complain at him and break free.]

Renegade Knucks: Hey, hey, hey, hey, get off!

[Sonic's smile disappears.]

Sonic: Huh. Oh, yeah, the whole "Eggman messed up the universe thing." Okay.

[The laser comes towards him and the rest of the team; They duck to dodge it.]

Sonic: Fine. Introductions. [Raps] Hello, I'm Sonic, the high-speed hedgehog hero who's always saving the day. And this wily little fox is the crusty but benign Tails...

Tails Nine: Nine! It's Nine. The emphasis is on the Nine.

Sonic: And these two slightly thuggish party crashers consist of the alluring and kick-butt international bat of mystery, Rouge...

[The laser comes towards him along with Rebel Rouge and Renegade Knucks; They dodge.]

Rebel Rouge: It's Rebel.

Sonic: And Knuckles.

Renegade Knucks: It's Knucks. And will someone please stop this laser?

Sonic: And Amy is...

Rusty Rose: I am a killing machine created by the Chaos Council to enforce their autocratic rule.

Sonic: Well, Amy's the sweetest friend you could ever ask for.

[The laser comes towards him along with Rebel Rouge, Renegade Knucks and Rusty Rose; They dodge, including Sonic, who shows an annoyed look beforehand.]

Sonic: [Quietly] But... no one remembers any of that. [Normally] So, we're going to fix it, because we got the whole band back together. [They are startled by a heavy pounding in the distance. They look to where the pounding's coming from, except for Tails Nine, who runs towards the door in the opposite direction.]

Tails Nine: This way, or you're finished.

[He types in the security code for that door. The pounding door opens, revealing another swarm of Eggforcers, but at the same time, the laser cuts across and defeats all of them, to the council's dismay. A Sprite of a laughing Tails Nine appears on the security room's main screen.]

Tails Nine: You've been hacked by Nine. [The Council all gasp.]

Mr. Dr. Eggman: Gah! Patch us into all the badniks for visuals. FIND THEM! Dr. Deep, we can't let them escape!

Dr. Deep: Totes. So gonna destroy. [He laughs and leaves the security room. The screen fades to black.]

[Scene Change: Yoke HQ]

[Deep prepares his samurai-style mech-suit and shows off his dance-moves, along with two look-a-like Eggforcers either side trying to copy his motions, which is also being viewed by the Council.]

Mr. Dr. Eggman: [Angrily] Deep, grow up! And your dance moves stink. [Slams his fist on the desk] Find them!

[Fanfare music plays. In slow motion, Sonic and his newly-formed team walk in. A triple-screen with Eggforcers approaching from both sides appear. Sonic runs to the right...]

Sonic: Baddies this way.

[...and then to the left.]

Sonic: Baddies that way. [returning to his team] They're coming from both sides.

[The door opens ahead of them and Sonic's team run past it. Two of the Eggforcers collide with one another as they approach each other. Renegade Knucks notices shooting coming from behind. He turns and approaches a wall of downed Eggforcers, pulling off one's parts, before dropping it and running with the crew.]

Renegade Knucks: Come on, gotta get out of here.

[He continues running, past Tails Nine.]

Tails Nine: Wait, stop. We shouldn't be trying to escape.

Renegade Knucks: What are you talking about? There's robots after us.

[He stops as Tails Nine jumps in-front of him.]

Tails Nine: We get our hands on their energy crystal, we shut down their entire operation...

Rebel Rouge: ...and take back our world.

Sonic: [Stopping] "Crystal"? "Energy crystal"? [Runs to cut the argument between Tails Nine and Renegade Knucks.] Hold-a-wait-a-what-a-sec. Did you say crystal? Is it a big crystal thingy? Shiny, reflect-y, prism-y?

Tails Nine: Sure.

Sonic: The Paradox Prism. Of course! [They see blasters firing through the gap in the door.] That's how Eggman did all this. The changed city, the messed-up you guys. If I can get it, maybe I can change it all back. Rusty Amy, where's the prism?

Rusty Rose: Rusty Rose. Do not have clearance to the subsectors of the core.

Sonic: [Laughs] Subsectors? I can make my own clearance.

[Blasters fire at them, causing both him and Tails Nine to duck and brace themselves. They look back to see another two swarms of Eggforcers approach them, the latter breaking another door open in the process. Sonic and the team lean onto the wall for cover.]

Sonic: In case of emergency, always use the stairs.

[Tails Nine, Rebel Rouge and Renegade Knucks, dodging weapon-fire, come with Sonic and escape to the top of the stairway, with the former continuing to shoot away.]

Sonic: Come on, team. Together, we're gonna fix the world.

[He jumps into a star-pose and falls down the middle of the long staircase, followed by a dive, with the rest of the team following him. Eggforcers emerge from one of the doors and see Sonic falling down. The falling members appear on the Council's monitor.]

Mr. Dr. Eggman: Aha!

[Sonic spins in mid-air and waits in boredom, until he is grabbed in the body by a hand, level with where the Eggforcers are marching down the staircase. Sonic is then slammed into the wall and falls to the floor.]

Sonic: [Groans] Ow!

Dr. Deep: Prepare to be amazed, then deceased, by the one and only Dr. Deep.

[Look-a-like Eggforcers drop in beside him ready for combat.]

Sonic: Uh--huh! [--Ducks and braces himself from a laser attack.] Okay, actually cool.

[The rest of Sonic's team are falling behind Dr. Deep. Tails Nine Ninja ropes back up, followed by Rebel Rouge. Renegade Knucks defeats an Eggforcer to the left while Rusty Rose user her extended arms to latch onto the edges of the staircase. Using her upwards momentum, she punches and takes on one of Dr. Deep's Eggforcers. After dodging an attack, she uses a combo of punches to weaken it. Rebel Rouge dives into the other of Dr. Deep's Eggforcers and tosses it into a group of Eggforcers walking down the steps. As soon as the white robot recovers, she kicks it and continues her battle. Sonic takes on Dr. Deep. As soon as Dr. Deep slams his buzzsaws down, Sonic sneaks him from behind and kicks him, knocking him down. Infuriated, Dr. Deep continues trying to attack Sonic with his Buzzsaws, while Sonic dodges every attack. Dr. Deep punches the wall with the Buzzsaw, while Sonic spin jumps to dodge it and land on top of it, spinning it around with glee. He jumps out of the way again. Meanwhile, Tails Nine continues shooting Eggforcers. One Eggforcer hits Rusty Rose, but she rebounds off the wall to knock it back. Rebel Rouge is hit by an uprising Eggforcer but Renegade Knucks, from above, punches the robot back down, freeing her. Sonic stares at his current enemy, peels out and tries some Homing Attacks, with Dr. Deep using the Buzzsaws to block it. In slow motion, he dodges the sword, runs in behind and jumps; but gets struck by Dr. Deep's buzzsaw, sending him flying, with the swords jabbed into the wall either side of him. Rusty Rose is tagged from behind by the white Eggforcer and combats the regular ones; getting hit again by Dr. Deep's robot until Rebel Rouge glides into it, picks it up and drops it down the middle of the long staircase. Renegade Knucks tosses one Eggforcer into the wall and another down the abyss while on a level lower, Tails Nine shoots another three Eggforcers before flying back up with his tails. With Sonic cornered by Dr. Deep, Tails Nine Ninja-rope and pulls an Eggforcer, but is grabbed by another Eggforcer. With Dr. Deep distracted, Sonic breaks free and Spin Attacks him, knocking him down and landing on top of him while preparing for the next danger. A view of the action appears on the screen, only for Sonic to charge a flying punch at it, defeating the Eggforcer to save Nine from it. The Council gasp in horror.]

Sonic: Whoo!

[Sonic Homing Attacks Dr. Deep with a direct hit and delivers the final few blows. Dr. Deep is sent flying, colliding with his own ally robots.]

Sonic: [To Tails Nine] Thanks for the save. High five!

[He pulls up Tails Nine's hand and high fives it. leaving the latter confused as he continues holding his hand up and looking at it.]

Tails Nine: "High... five"?

Mr. Dr. Eggman: [To Dr. Don't] Divert more energy from the crystal to the pods immediately!

[Dr. Don't raises a bar on his gadget to maximum. The Eggforcers are upgraded with a power-up effect shown on the screen. They confront Sonic and his team again. The Eggforcers punch the team blow after blow. Mr. Dr. Eggman laughs in excitement, as his robots continue mauling Sonic's team.]

Mr. Dr. Eggman: [Punches the air] Yes!

[Dr. Done-It sleeps and Dr. Don't play games, while the robots continue their onslaught. The exhausted team reunite.]

Renegade Knucks: We're done for. They're too powerful, too fast.

Sonic: [To Renegade Knucks] "Too fast"? You need to learn to spin-dash, my friend.

Renegade Knucks: Spin-dash?

Sonic: Watch and learn!

[Sonic curls into a spinning ball in front of his team-mates. He spin dashes into and defeats multiple Eggforcers at high speed, annoying Mr. Dr. Eggman.]

Mr. Dr. Eggman: Ah, coconuts!

[Sonic returns to Renegade Knucks.]

Sonic: You're up! You see that bad guy over there?

Renegade Knucks: [Confused] Uh, yeah.

Sonic: Now SPIN!--

[Sonic spins and tosses Renegade Knucks into another group of Eggforcers. Tails Nine is up next. He holds him.]

Sonic: You too.

[Sonic tosses the ball of Tails Nine into another swarm of Eggforcers. Lines of Blue, yellow and red auras appear from a bird's eye view at the middle of the staircase. The battle with the Eggforcers continue, with Rebel Rouge dodging cannon-fire and taking out one robot. Rusty Rose drops down and pushes an Eggforcer with her. Another Eggforcer lands by Sonic feet and starts attacking. He dodges a downward arm attack and steps behind it. He Spin Attacks it and grinds it down the barricade of the stairway. He jumps and Homing Attacks another robot... on top of a mountain of robot scrap along with Rusty Rose and Renegade Knucks.]

Sonic: [Whispers] What kind of budget are these guys working with?

[Renegade Knucks dives into the robot scrap and starts digging.]

Tails Nine: We're at the sub level. Where's the exit?

[A thud sounds.]

Renegade Knucks: Found it!

[The Council look at the mountain of Robot scrap with Sonic's Team on their monitor escaping.]

Mr. Dr. Eggman: We lost them! [Slams his fist on the desk. The next shot is a downed Dr. Deep.] Wake up, Dr. Deep. Find those rebels!

[Dr. Deep grunts and clears a few robot parts that landed on top of him, including a robot hand that was pinching his shoulder.]

Dr. Deep: Ohh!

[Renegade Knucks kicks a robot part.]

Sonic: That was awesome! Good work, team. Let's go.

[Sonic and his team set off, but Tails, struggling to catch up, notices a left turn and stops.]

Tails Nine: Your shoes. Stop, it's that way.

[The team gather around.]

Sonic: Well, how do you know?

Tails Nine: He's connected to the prism energy, and thanks to my handiwork, his shoes are picking up on the energy's signature.

Sonic: He's right. It's like they're calling out to it. Look. [Runs to the far side] Hot, [Runs back to the group] cold. [Runs further to the far side] Hotter, [Runs back to the group] colder, [Runs even further to the far side.] blazing hot.

[A crash is heard. Tails Nine notices this.]

Tails Nine: Uh...

[Dr. Deep returns, with his swarm of white Eggforcers.]

Dr. Deep: I'm going to origami that hedgehog! [Points his sword forward.] Find them!

[His robots move on ahead. Tails Nine is pointing to the right direction in urge.]

Tails Nine: Come on, let's go.

[The crew follow Tails Nine. While the Eggforcers fly forward, Dr. Deep sees his enemies over on his left and stops.]

Dr. Deep: Huh? [Observes the scenario] They're headed for the core. They're headed for the core! [Shouts, jumping up and down] Guys, guys, guys!

[Dr. Deep is shunted to the wall repeatedly by a chain of Eggforcers making the turn, grunting and groaning. He is then shunted to the wall on the other side by another chain of Eggforcers making the turn from the opposite side, grunting and groaning. As soon as Dr. Deep recovers, he is bashed on the back and knocked to the ground by another Eggforcer. Meanwhile Sonic's crew are under attack, but Tails Nine sees and points at something ahead of him.]

Tails Nine: That's gotta be it.

[Along the long corridor is the security door. Mr. Dr. Eggman observes the activity and is angry and despaired.]

Mr. Dr. Eggman: [Exclaims, groans] Shut it down! Shut it down! Close all corridors!

[The doors begin to close in-front of Tails Nine's view.]

Tails Nine: They're shutting the doors! Hurry!

[While blasters continue firing, Amy steps into the gap between the first door and blocks both sides, allowing the rest of the team to run past. Renegade Knucks lifts up a canister and wedges open the second door. After he and Rusty Rose make it through, Tails Nine kicks the canister behind him, closing the door and trapping the Eggforcers and Dr. Deep behind him.]

Dr. Deep: Open the doors! Open the doors!

[Dramatic music plays as the doors open once again and a large swarm of Eggforcers walk through and continue shooting. The team hide in safe places, except for Renegade Knucks and Sonic.]

Renegade Knucks: I guess dreams don't come true.

Sonic: Aw, come on. You don't believe that, do you?

Renegade Knucks: Well, prove me wrong.

[Renegade Knucks lifts up another canister and tosses it in the air. In slow motion, it can be seen blocking blaster fire. Sonic sees this and seizes his chance, showing a determined look. With cannon-fire everywhere, he runs, slides underneath and jumps over it, twirling like a ballet dancer as he does so. He spin jumps towards the canister. He propels and rides it forward with his legs, intercepting blaster-fire along the way. More and more burn marks appear on the canister as Sonic continues to drive it forwards. Rebel Rouge, Renegade Knucks and Tails Nine's jaws drop in amazement. With the Eggforcers approaching them, Sonic spin dashes the canister into the group of Eggforcers, sending them all flying in a heap backwards. The heap hurtles towards Dr. Deep, who gets up and sees a large metallic 'boulder' flying towards him.]

Dr. Deep: Ohh. Aah!

[He screams and tries to brace himself with his glove, but the 'boulder' slams into him, and the canister explodes a hole in Yoke HQ, sending him out along with his Eggforcers and falling from a great height. The residents watch the falling robots crash down to the ground.]

Denizen Male: That's him... the blue hedgehog!

[He points up. The camera pans to the break in Yoke HQ, where Sonic looks at them, standing on top of a pile of robot scrap. He laughs out loud and turns back along the corridor, only to be confronted by Dr. Babble's robot and more Eggforcers. Dr. Babble babbles angrily and slams on his controls. Sonic stops as soon as he sees it.]

Sonic: [Groans in annoyance] Enough with the baby. Give me the old man for once.

[A swarm of Eggforcers confront the rest of Sonic's team.]

Sonic: Nine, how we doing over there?

[Tails Nine is busy tinkering with the security door's code, becoming more frustrated.]

Tails Nine: I need more time.

Sonic: [To Dr. Babble, angrily] Hey, it's me you want. Come and get me. [Dr. Babble babbles. As Sonic runs away, he and his Eggforcers go after him. Rusty Rose, guarding Tails Nine, kicks one Eggforcer and punches another. The baby babbles angrily and chases Sonic towards the open hole.]

Sonic: Who wants to play follow the leader? Cannonball!

[Sonic spin jumps through the hole and falls down. Dr. Babble instructs the Eggforcers to dive down and go after Sonic. Sonic grinds and runs along a rail.]

Sonic: What do you say? Once around the park?

[The Eggforcers fire at Sonic. He jumps just before the tunnel, luring one Eggforcer to crash into the wall. He jumps over a hand attack from another Eggforcer. He passes Denizen 1998. whom is going fishing with his rod. As soon as Sonic reaches the cylindrical tunnel, he jumps onto the cylinder and spin dashes around it, breaking more chasing Eggforcers. He jumps over an obstacle, and then hops onto a train heading opposite, spin jumping from carriage to carriage and defeating more Eggforcers, chuckling in joy. The robots stop. Dr. Babble blabbers his robots to charge in the opposite direction. Sonic is then seen running forwards again, Spinning around the rail and knocking a few Eggforcers along with Dr. Babble's mech suit, sending him to a spin, followed by a furious scream. While the rest of Sonic's crew take on more Eggforcers, Dr. Babble's pursuit of Sonic continues. He uses his right arm to fire blasters at Sonic, which he dodges. He presses the yellow corner button on his robot and goes for a fist attack. Sonic jumps up to dodge that attack, but is then punched with the left fist by Dr. Babble's robot, sending him somersaulting in mid-air and screaming. Luckily, he lands back on the rail and carries on running. He sees Dr. Babble's robot on the other side. He dodges a standing fist attack. With Dr. Babble chasing him, the baby retracts his weapon. Sonic then does a Super Peel Out and zooms along the rail. A loop later, Sonic is then running behind the robots he's after]

Sonic: All-star move. [He spin dashes along the rail, homing attacking the line of Eggforcers and causing them all to fall and break in a heap onto the road. He tags Dr. Babble's robot, but he holds on to the rail and gets back up. Dr. Babble screams as they both charge at each other. Sonic does three Homing Attacks to knock off Dr Babble, crashing it onto the heap of Eggforcers. Sonic land back on the rail, watching the baby cry and thrash about in a tantrum.]

Sonic: Ah, the sweet sounds of crying baby tyrants. Music to my ears.

[Suddenly, a distant rumble is heard. He looks back; at the same time a flashback of Hedgehog's Pass plays, showing the mountain exploding.]

Sonic: Whoa, déjà vu all over again.

[He runs along the rail, meeting Denizen 1998 fishing into a safe. Another flashback plays of Sonic sending Big into a spin.]

Flashback Sonic: Sorry, Big. Sorry, Froggy. Can't chat. Gotta go save our friends.

[The flashback ends.]

Sonic: Okay, this is all a little too familiar.

[While he jumps towards Yoke HQ, another flashback plays of him platforming along Hedgehog's Pass, which ends quickly. He then zooms along the corridor littered with robot scrap, in which another flashback plays.]

Flashback Eggman: Too late, Sonic!

[At the end of the corridor, Tails Nine clatters the keys on the security door. A beep sounds.]

Tails Nine: I got it, we're in.

[The security doors open up. Sonic makes it through the gap in the door wedged open by a broken robot part, and meets the team.]

Tails Nine: Sonic, we didn't think you'd make it back. Are you okay?

Sonic: Yeah, I'm fine.

Tails Nine: Come on, let's go.

Renegade Knucks: Yeah, I thought you'd be flatter than a snake's belly.

[Renegade Knucks, Rebel Rouge and Rusty Rose are grabbed by a robot's hand. Sonic turns back.]

Sonic: Whoa!

[The camera cuts to Mr. Dr. Eggman, wearing his robotic mech-suit.]

Mr. Dr. Eggman: Need a job done right, do it yourself. Step away from the core, or your friends are toast.

[Suddenly the doors start closing in front of him. They completely shut as he nearly makes it to the doorway. Sonic tries to push the doors back open, but Tails Nine restrains him.]

Tails Nine: Sonic, we have to get to the core!

Sonic: [Trying to restrain Tails Nine] No! I've got to help my friends.

[Rusty Rose punches the mech in the head, breaking herself and her team-mates free.]

Dr. Deep: Ahh!

[Rebel Rouge glides into it, only to get swatted away by Dr. Deep's left arm, banging into the closed door. She then speaks through the door.]

Rebel Rouge: Sonic, go. You have to get to the Paradox Prism, or it'll all be for nothing.

[She resumes battling.]

Tails Nine: [To Sonic] You heard her. Come on.

[He walks on alone, leaving Sonic frustrated. Sonic stays there and touches the door and looks at it miserably. Meanwhile, Tails Nine is running along the bridge prompting Sonic to come with him.]

Tails Nine: Come on!

[Sonic finally lets go of the door and walks away from it. He then notices something up ahead.]

Sonic: Wait. Is that...? [Runs and catches up to Tails Nine. They approach the Shard Generator.] It's not the Paradox Prism. It's way too tiny. The Prism was... was...

[Several flashbacks play of Eggman and Sonic's friends with the Paradox Prism. Sonic spinning into the Prism and breaking it.]

Flashback Tails: We don't know what the prism is capable of. Be careful.

Sonic: I remember now.

Flashback Tails: Sonic!

[The flashback ends.]

Sonic: [Upset] I was too focused on winning. [Facepalm] I didn't listen. I... They tried to warn me.

[The flashback plays again of Sonic's friends in four screens muting the word "No!" before being sent to the Shatterverse.]

Sonic: All of them. All this time, I thought Eggman figured out how to harness the prism energy, and that's why everything's so whacked. But it's not that. Eggman didn't create this world...

[The flashbacks play of Sonic entering the Shatterverse.]

Sonic: I did.

[The flashback ends. A thud is heard through the door.]

Sonic: I shattered the Paradox Prism. I broke... everything.

Tails Nine: So, this is just one small shard of a bigger energy source? [Another thud sounds] There's... more? [Another heavy thud sounds. This time Tails Nine and Sonic notice it. The mech gets its hands wedged on the door, trying to open it; to Sonic, angry] You've said a lot of weird stuff since I met you, and that's the weirdest. So, snap back to reality, grab that chart, and we'll sort the rest out later.

Sonic: No, you... he... The original you told me not to touch it.

Tails Nine: Well, I'm telling you the opposite. Now, grab it and let's go!

[The mech peeps his face through the gap, threatening to open the door.]

Sonic: Right, I broke it, but we can [grabs Tails Nine's arms.] fix this. If there's anyone who's got the brains to put it all back together, it's you.

Tails Nine: That's the first thing you've said that I agree with.

[Sonic puts his hand close to the shard, nervously. Eventually, he touches it, with energy crackling in electric sparks. His hand is then attracted to the shard, generating copious levels of energy and causing Tails Nine to panic.]

Tails Nine: Sonic, what's happening?

[Sonic realizes he can't break free. He tries to pull himself away from the shard.]

Sonic: Nine! Nine! [Sonic grunts and screams as the shard pulls his wholeself in.]

Tails Nine: [Shocked] Sonic!

[The shard stops generating, with Tails Nine looking solely at the shard in misery.]

Tails Nine: Sonic, where are you? Sonic! [The screen shrinks in size and fades to black.] Sonic? [Whispers] Sonic?

[The credits play.]
