Everyone (E)

Everyone 10+ (E10+)

Teen (T)

Trivia

  • So far, not a single Sonic game has been rated above Teen.
    • However, discounting crossovers, no Sonic game has ever been rated above E10+.
  • The K-A rating was replaced with the E rating in 1998.
  • The PSN version of Sonic the Hedgehog was rated E10+ until 2013.
  • Originally, due to its dark nature, Shadow the Hedgehog was originally going to be rated T, with the game containing red blood, violent scenes, and more instances of cursing. The E10+ rating was created during development, causing some changes between pre-release and the final version.
