Emporium[1] is location that appears in the Sonic Underground television series. It is the biggest city on Mobius, and home to many snake charmers.

Description[]

Emporium is a vast city located in a desert area, composed mainly of tan buildings with domed roofs. Despite its dry location, several trees are also present in the city. Additionally, Emporium is connected by several alleyways, one of which is specifically for jewel merchants.[1]

History[]

Tv series[]

Season one[]

Hearing of the Crown Jewel being sold in Emporium by a merchant, the Sonic Underground traveled there. Asking for directions from a resident snake charmer, they located the merchant's shop, but not before Sleet and Dingo unsuccessfully attempted to swindle the merchant out of it. meanwhile, the Sonic Underground contemplated whether or not it would be right to steal the gem, eventually deciding against doing so, and being caught by a disguised Dingo in the process. Sleet and Dingo then attempted to flee Emporium with the jewel, only to have their vehicle stopped by a net Sonic made. Using their Communicator, they called Dr. Robotnik in with his Swatbot horde, but they were soon unable to speak as Sonic dumped several pots full of olive oil into their vehicle, causing them to drop the Crown Jewel, and Sonic to grab it. Sonic then ran back to the Camper Van, which his siblings used to evade the Swatbot horde. They then disguised themselves as snake charmers, and left Emporium in their Camper Van, unbeknownst to them that Sleet had placed a tracking device on it during his inspection. After their failed attempt to find their mother with the Crown Jewel, the Sonic Underground briefly returned to Emporium, removed the tracking device placed on their van, and left the city for good, but not before finding a picture of their mother that the Jewel merchant had left them.[1]
