The Emerald Sea is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs. It is a lake on the continent of Eurish, and is one of the largest bodies of water on Mobius.

History

By the year of 3237, the Emerald Sea had become the location of one of the Sub-Bosses of the Eggman Empire.

Trivia

• The first map of Mobius shown in Sonic Super Special #2 showed the Emerald Sea to next to be next to the Deerwood Forest. However, in Sonic the Hedgehog: The Complete Sonic Comic Encyclopedia, the larger lake southeast of there was designated the Emerald Sea.
• Emerald Sea is a spoof of the Red Sea.
