The Emerald River is a location that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. It is a river that flows through the Emerald Hill Zone.

Description

Megatox intended to destroy the Chemical Plant Zone, causing a Mega Mack flood that would flood into the Emerald River and thus irreparably pollute the Emerald Hill Zone for a hundred years. However, his plan was foiled by Sonic.
