Elf Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Chao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance

Elf Chao have cream colored pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. They also have large eyes, no noses or mouths, round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms nor feet have digits. They also have a short and round tail and a small set of wings on their backs. For attire, they wear a green elf outfit with red spikes of fabric on the neck and the sleeves, along with a dark brown belt that has a golden buckle around their waist. They also wear brown shoes on their feet and a green hat with red spikes of fabric at the base.

Overview

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Elf Chao is a collectible pet of the "Seasonal" rarity. They could be unlocked during the Gotta Snow Fast event event from the 23rd of December 2022 to the 14th of January 2023 by collecting 50000 and 75000 Gingerbread Cookies, which would give the player two and three Elf Chao each. They could also be bought for Robux during the same event.

In gameplay, Elf Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, Elf Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up Elf Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Elf Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Elf Chao by collecting five of them, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing a Elf Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.

Powers and abilities

Elf Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with. They also increase the luck of the user, making them more likely to get rarer outcomes from vending machines and enchantment shrines.
