Electric Chao are a type of Chao in Sonic Speed Simulator. They are Chao with black skin that have rings on their torso and electrical auras of various colors. All of them could have been found in the numerous vending machines in Chemical Plant.

Appearance

Electric Chao have black, pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. They also have large eyes, no noses or mouths, round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms nor feet have digits. They also have floating dots above their heads, tipped arms, head points and feet, rings on their torsos, short and round tails, and a small set of wings on their backs as well as an electrical aura around them that all vary in color across its variants.

Overview

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Electric Chao are collectible pets that come in "Epic" and "Legendary" rarities. They could all be bought at various vending machines in Chemical Plant before the area was removed in the Mega Update. The vending machines that contain Electric Chao all had at least one Charged Chao in them as well.

In gameplay, Electric Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, Electric Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up Electric Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Electric Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Electric Chao by collecting five of one variant of it, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing a Electric Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.

Powers and abilities

Electric Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with.
