Elder Kay is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog novels published by Virgin Books. She is an old woman[1] and leader of the Time Police.[2] Despite this, she and her agents are often losing or damaging equipment, except for important time-machine prototypes. She is also the grandmother of Elder Jay.[1]
History[]
Sonic the Hedgehog in the Fourth Dimension[]
Sonic and Tails met Elder Kay when the Time Police warped them to their headquarters. Elder Kay cleared the assembly and introduced herself and Elder Jay to the heroes. Elder Kay brought up the fact that their equipment often went missing. As the heroes were served a large meal, Kay warned them not to overeat, claiming "they will only rot your teeth and give you spots." Sonic and Tails then revealed their plan to undo the creation of Robotnik to her.[1]
Later, Elder Kay appeared in the court with Arctur the Dragonkin, leader of the Mythos Creatures, as they signed a treaty between their two races.[2]
