Egypt is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog film series produced by Paramount Pictures and its spin-offs. It is a country located on Earth. Various deserts can be found here, along with pyramids built in ancient times.

Sonic the Hedgehog[]
While Sonic and Eggman were battling, they briefly arrived at the Great Pyramids of Egypt in country's desert region through a Ring. There, Sonic briefly blinded Robotnik in his Eggpod with a sandstorm he stirred up before trying to escape to Green Hills through another Ring he opened at the top of one of the pyramid. Robotnik, however, recovered quickly, and managed to blast Sonic through his Ring and onto the main street of Green Hills before heading through the Ring himself.

While they were battling, Sonic the Hedgehog and Dr. Robotnik briefly arrived at the Great Pyramids of Egypt through a Ring before later traveling to Green Hills through another Ring.[1]

After defeating Dr. Robotnik, Sonic went off to visit many places around the world. He started a travel diary to keep track of the many locations he visited since making his home in Green Hills. While in Egypt, he noted a song about the people in the country were dancing to a walk which seemed too slow for him. Next, he headed off to India.
