Fleetway Editions was a UK-based publishing company that published the British comic Sonic the Comic. Fleetway Editions was owned by Egmont, and was formed when the company Fleetway was purchased by Egmont and merged with London Editions. The company was progressively integrated with its parent company Egmont, who changed its name first to Egmont Fleetway in issue #89, then to Egmont Magazines during STC's final issues.
In October 2013, Sega signed a new publishing deal with Egmont.[1] Later, in 2014, Egmont published four books based on the Sonic the Hedgehog series.[2]:
