Eggman Island is the primary location of the arcade game SegaSonic the Hedgehog. It is small island with long bridge between the island and the mainland. In the game's storyline, all playable characters Sonic, Mighty and Ray are held by Dr. Robotnik on the island as prisoners, which has seven different areas to get passed through. During the arcade game, Robotnik himself activates deadly traps of the island as trying to get rid of trio from the main computer room, that is located on the top of Eggman's Tower.
As soon the trio manages to get the computer room, Robotnik activates the self-destruction of the island. Despite this, trio and the doctor manages to get out the island, which gets destroyed along with a large explosion.
Trivia
- The island's name is only mentioned at description of the arcade game's flyer. It is named after Dr. Robotnik despite the before his current English name became known as "Dr. Eggman."
