The Eggman Bombom is an object that appears in the Sonic X anime series. They are powerful explosives created by Dr. Eggman and used by Shadow the Hedgehog.
Description[]
The Eggman Bomboms are handheld, high-tech packs with a digital display and the Eggman Empire decal. The devices also come equipped with a countdown. Despite their size, the Eggman Bomboms are extremely potent, being able to completely engulf the entirety of Prison Island in explosions upon being set off, and then cause huge shock waves and tidal waves in the aftermath.[1]

The Eggman Bomboms were used during Dr. Eggman, Rouge the Bat, and Shadow the Hedgehog’s attack on Prison Island. They were given to Shadow by Eggman to be placed in various locations. Shadow sets them to ten minutes before detonation. While the bombs went off as planned and demolished the island, Shadow barely managed to escape the island when he was forced to save Rouge and Chris from the impending explosions via Chaos Control.[1]
