Eggman's Tower is the last zone in SegaSonic the Hedgehog.
Overview
Eggman's Tower is a final gauntlet of hazards that will chase the playable character up the tower with indoor and outdoor sections. In the indoor sections, the character is chased down corridors filled with guillotines by flames, cylinders and a giant machine, followed by a wall climb with buzz saws. Outdoors, the only hazard to avoid is the rapidly-collapsing walkways.
At the end of the level, Sonic, Ray and Mighty confront Dr. Eggman in his control room. In response, the bad doctor presses a self-destruct switch, and the player(s) will only have twenty seconds to escape Eggman's Tower. If they make it out of the tower successfully, the player(s) can watch the ending credits. If they fail, they get a Game Over, and they will not be allowed to use a Continue, as the game states "You failed" with Eggman laughing. Additionally, new players can no longer join the game once Eggman is reached.
Trivia
- In Sonic X, Eggman's fortress appears similar to Eggman's Tower.
