The Egg Wrecker is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It was a modified Egg Mobile created by Dr. Ivo Robotnik.[1]

Description[]

Appearance[]

The Egg Wrecker resembled a standard Egg Mobile, with the added attachment of a chain on its underside which connected to a wrecking ball referred to as the "Checker Wrecker".[1]

Features and traits[]

In addition to being capable of flight, the Egg Wrecker could deploy a large "Checker Wrecker" wrecking ball from its underside, which it could swing around to attack foes.[1]

History[]

Don't Cry for Me, Mobius![]

Dr. Ivo Robotnik first used the Egg Wrecker in an attempt to destroy Sonic and the Knothole Freedom Fighters when they were wandering the edge of the Great Forest. However, Sonic dodged all the attacks from the Checker Wrecker, and used a Power Ring to knock it back at Robotnik, destroying the Egg Wrecker.[1]

Genesis[]

In the altered reality created as a result of Operation: Clean Sweep, Snively piloted the Egg Wrecker in Green Hill Zone, using it to capture the local mobians and mobini by order of his uncle, Dr. Eggman. However, Sonic soon arrived and infuriated Snively, prompting him to deploy the Checker Wrecker in a rage and attack him. However, Sonic used his speed to avoid the attacks and destroyed the Checker Wrecker's chain with a Sonic Spin, leading Snively to flee in his damaged Egg Wrecker.[2]
