The Egg Viper is a vehicle that is mentioned in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It was a battle mech created by Dr. Eggman and used to fight Sonic during the reality created by the second Genesis Wave.

During an adventure through the Skull Egg Zone, Sonic mentioned the Egg Viper to Mega Man.[1]

Trivia[]

  • The Egg Viper is acknowledged as one of the more difficult bosses in the Sonic video games; Sonic's comments in Mega Man #26 in terms of it being a better opponent to the Snakeys of the Mega Man games may be a nod to this.
