The Egg Nautilus is an vehicle that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a mech-like device created by Dr. Eggman that resembles a nautilus.
Description[]
Appearance[]
The Egg Nautilus features a large red shell with a cockpit attached to it, two grey "eyes" on either side, and several silver tentacles attached to its front.
Powers and abilities[]
The Egg Nautilus' tentacles are capable of uploading viruses into computers and similar technology, with the intention of use on Nanites.[1] They are also equipped with metallic claws at the ends, which can be used to crush objects. It can also fly by sitting upright and spinning its tentacles like helicopter blades.[1]

The Egg Nautilus was used by Dr. Eggman to attack New Mobotropolis, with the intention of using a computer virus to destroy Nicole, as she had rescued all those captured in the Egg Grapes after the destruction of Knothole.[1][2][3]
Trivia[]
- A similar mech, though resembling more of a squid rather than a nautilus, appeared in Sonic X #38.
