The Egg Mobile is an improved, streamlined version of the Eggpod while maintaining many of its traits. It is a white and spherical, one-person pod with a single seat. Its lower hemisphere is black and it has collapsible panels hiding missile launchers underneath them on each side. It also possesses a large and deep recess with a red headlamp inside it, black markings similar to the ones on the standard Badnik model, windshield on the front, and a rocket thruster on the rear. Behind the windshield, inside the Egg Mobile, is an extensive instrument panel with a computer screen in the middle and two steering handles on the sides.
Features and abilities
The Egg Mobile is a hover pod capable of flight, and is fast enough to keep up with Tails' flying speed. In addition, it is equipped with missile launchers that can fire highly explosive missiles, as well as lasers. While it can be piloted manually, it can also be operated remotely using a Robotnik Control Glove.

In Siberia, Robotnik used the Egg Mobile to corner Sonic and Tails in an ancient owl temple with Knuckles and a contingence of Badniks. When Robotnik fired a missile at Sonic with the Egg Mobile however, Sonic redirected it into a statue, causing the temple to cave in. As Sonic and Tails proceeded to escape, Robotnik used the Egg Mobile to pursue Tails. Eventually, Robotnik used his Egg Mobile to swoop in and snatch the compass leading to the Master Emerald when Sonic tried passing it onto Tails, whom Robotnik knocked out using two missiles from his Egg Mobile. Afterwards, the Egg Mobile was used by Robotnik and Knuckles to escape Sonic and an avalanche.
