The Egg Hammer Tank (エッグ ハンマー タンク Eggu Hanmā Tanku?)[1] is the first boss of Sonic Advance, located in Neo Green Hill Zone.
Appearance
As the name states, the Egg Hammer Tank is a combination between a hammer with a mini-tank. Most of the body is gray including its treads, with some parts red, black and yellow stripes, and the hammer is black. The boss battle takes place on a suspension bridge.
Battle
This boss battle is fairly simple, as the player must jump on top of Dr. Eggman to damage him while avoiding his hammer which strikes the ground back and forth as the vehicle moves. Before the player makes the finishing blow, Eggman will spice things up by jumping into the air after his hammer hits the ground.
Trivia
- The EgghammertankII is an upgraded version of the Egg Hammer Tank.
- The boss is a remake of the Neo South Island Zone boss battle from Sonic the Hedgehog Pocket Adventure, which was essentially the Drill Eggman with a hammer.
