The Egg Foot[1] (エッグフット[2] Eggufutto?) is the boss of the Ocean Base in Sonic Advance 3. It is piloted by Dr. Eggman.

Appearance[]

Similar to the Egg Frog, Egg Foot is mostly green with black and yellow stripes on it. On top of it is where the Egg Mobile and Gemerl is located.

Battle[]

During the battle, the Egg Foot leaps up high enough where its legs being the only thing visible upon leaving the screen, then moves back and forth across the screen, before stopping and dropping back to the ground, attempting to squash the characters. The only way to safely attack this boss is to be right between both legs as the machine drops and nail Eggman in his cockpit. Touching any other part of the Egg Foot will damage the player. After a few hits, Eggman will occasionally pull the "feet" of the mech inward, blocking the opening for a safe attack and creating two shockwaves that travel across the ground in both directions (he is especially prone to doing this during the "Pinch" portion of the fight). As the Egg Foot receives more hits, it will move quicker across the screen.

The machine will explode after eight hits (six on Easy mode), forcing Eggman and Gemerl to retreat and allowing the player to advance to Toy Kingdom.
