The Egg Bazooka[1] is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. They are bazookas used primarily by the Egg Pawns of the Eggman Empire.

As their name says, the Egg Bazookas are large, orange bazookas. Though details vary, they generally have a thick tube, mouth rims on both ends of their tube that are in a different shade of orange, a tall and wide front sight, and a front grip.

The Egg Bazookas first appeared in Sonic Heroes where they have a dark orange tube with light orange details. In this game, it is one of the standard weapons wielded by several Egg Pawns, Solid Pawns and Egg Knights. In gameplay, they can fire yellow energy bullets which damage the playable characters upon impact. The Egg Bazooka is a more long-ranged weapon in comparison to the Egg Gun, but is slower to fire.

Shadow the Hedgehog

In Shadow the Hedgehog, the Egg Bazooka was redesigned with a light orange tube and dark orange detail. It, like the Egg Gun, is much larger than Shadow himself. It also had more pronounced components. In this game, it is a cannon-type weapon usable by both enemies and the player. In gameplay, they are only found in certain Stages where they can be wielded by Egg Pawns, who will use them against the player.

Egg Bazookas can be dropped by defeated Egg Pawns that wield them or released from breakable Containers. Touching one will make Shadow pick it up automatically, and pressing PSSquareButton/SNNBGAMECUBEDISCO/XboxX (whether on the ground or in mid-air) while using the crosshair to aim will fire it. As a cannon, the Egg Bazooka can eliminate surrounding obstacles and enemies with an explosion. An Egg Bazooka has a total of six shots and once those run out, it becomes useless. However, it can be reloaded with another six shots by picking up another Egg Bazooka.
