Egg Base Delta[1] is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by IDW Publishing. It is a large, heavily polluted, industrial base owned by Dr. Eggman and is a part of the Eggman Empire.

The skyline of Egg Base Delta, from Sonic the Hedgehog #65.

Egg Base Delta is a large heavily industrialized base with many large smoke towers, cranes, metallic buildings, and what appear to be floating platforms. The smog of the base causes a green haze all around it. Badniks patrol the base for intruders and perform the operations of the base.

History[]

Relic Robbing Rumble[]

Knuckles and Team Chaotix attacked Egg Base Delta to get Eggman's attention. After destroying some Badniks, Eggman did show up via the Egg Monitor. He asked why they were destroying his robots when they already ruined one of his recent schemes. Knuckles demanded Eggman to return his relics, but Eggman didn't know what he is talking about. Knuckles says he can't trick him and Vector "figured out" he hired the Rogues to steal the relics back. Eggman went to Vector and scalded him for his stupidity. Vector admitted they are on a deadline and Eggman usually does these kind of things. Eggman explained he leaves his robots to keep track of everything he's captured. Knuckles knew the relic was in Eggperial City, and Eggman admitted he took it then, but he'd never hire someone to get it when his robots can do it. He asked if the relic had any powers, and Knuckles said no. Eggman groaned and told the echidna he doesn't care about it and then yelled at them to get out. The Chaotix hanged their heads as Knuckles admitted they made a mistake, but he's strong enough to admit it.[1]
