Rough the Skunk and Tumble the Skunk, Sonic the Hedgehog Annual 2019

The Egg-Golem[1] is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by IDW Publishing. It is a remote-controlled robot created by Dr. Eggman.

Appearance

The Egg Golem is a colossal humanoid robot with armor made of beige stone. Its head resembles a human face with a pharaoh's headdress on them. It also has yellow glowing eyes.

History

Curse of the Pyramid

An Egg-Golem was used by the residents of the Lost Pyramid of Dr. Eggman in Dusty Desert to defend themselves against intruders.[1]

When Rough and Tumble arrived to get the treasures of the pyramid, the Egg-Golem got in their way and attacked them. Rouge, who had come to the pyramid herself to look for treasure too, then flew in search of the remote control used to control the Egg-Golem. Eventually, she stumbled upon the inhabitants of the pyramid controlling the Egg-Golem. In the meantime, Rough and Tumble managed to destroy the Egg-Golem together, only to get scared out of the pyramid by Rouge.[1]

Personality

The Egg-Golem is completely mindless robot, being little more than a machine controlled remotely, yet-highly destructive and merciless.[1]

Powers and abilities

The Egg-Golem possesses incredible super strength, enough to smash a stone floor to splinters with a single punch.[1]
