Template:Character Eclipse the Darkling is a fictional character in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic book series and its spin-offs. He is a Black Arms supersoldier created as a copy of Shadow the Hedgehog - a being also created by the Black Arms. Eclipse had been stated be what Shadow would have been if he was a Pure Black Arms instead of a Black Arms-Hedgehog hybrid.[1]

Eclipse
Eclipse comes to Earth in the Black Comet along with an army of Black Arms and their current leader: Black Death. At one point, Eclipse attempts to hunt down Rouge and Omega.
Powers and Abilities
Eclipse currently has no confirmed powers or abilities, though the cover for Sonic Universe #61 seems to show him phasing out of a wall, and the cover the Sonic Universe #62 shows him with energy around his fists, suggesting he can control it. He has also been mentioned to be a copy of Shadow, meaning that he will likely have similar powers.
