Easter Egg Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Chao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance

Easter Egg Chao have cyan pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. They also have large white eyes, no noses or mouths, round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms nor feet have digits. However, they have yellow tips on their arms, feet, and head points. They also have a floating yellow dot above their heads, short and round tails, and a small set of wings on their backs. For attire, they wear an eggshell painted with pastel colors over their head, which their eyes appear through.

Overview

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Easter Egg Chao is a collectible pet of the "Legendary" rarity. It could be purchased at a display model near the starting point in Green Hill for 399 Robux starting on April 1st 2023. Alternatively, the player could buy five of them at once for 999 Robux at a display model in the same world. However, the option to purchase them was removed approximately two weeks later.

In gameplay, Easter Egg Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, the Easter Egg Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up Easter Egg Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Easter Egg Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Easter Egg Chao by collecting five of them, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing a Easter Egg Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.

Powers and abilities

Easter Egg Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with.
