Anime[]
New World Saga[]
After seeing reports on Station Square TV News that a Chaos Emerald was found on a construction site in Station Square, Dr. Eggman recognized it as a Chaos Emerald and deployed E-11 Beacon to aid in retrieving it. Though GUN had begun watching the doctor's movements on his island base and proceeded to send missiles after him, Beacon easily dispatched into the sea using its superior aerial maneuverability. The two of them were quickly greeted by Sonic after arriving in Station Square though and Eggman ordered Beacon to attack the blue hedgehog. The moment Sonic was in the air, Beacon struck and proceeded to volley him around in the air, not letting his feet get near the ground. After some struggle getting in close, Tails and Amy came to the rescue in the Tornado 2 and threw Sonic a Ring, allowing him to use his Spin Attack to fly through the air and destroy Beacon in a single strike.[1]
Eventually, GUN put their plan to attack Dr. Eggman's fortress into action while he was away. With their master gone, Decoe and Bocoe proceeded to command Eggman's forces to counterattack, deploying a rebuilt Beacon to to take on the government's attack aircraft alongside a E-13 Guardbot, which proved quite effective.[2]
Powers and abilities[]
Beacon has the ability to fly and it has great agility, as it once evaded a large barrage of missiles and lured them into water. It also has the ability to ram objects.

- In the Japanese version of Sonic X, Beacon is simply referred to as "E-11".
