E-102's fighting pose

— Info, Sonic Battle[1]

E-102 Style is a move used primarily by Chaos Gamma in Sonic Battle. In the game, it serves as Chaos Gamma's Fighting Pose.

Description[]

E-102 Style is Chaos Gamma's fighting stance, though with some possible added effects such as putting Emerl's attack and defense up on par with Gamma's, especially when combined with equipped Attack and Strength Support cards.

The user thrusts their arms up while slightly bending their knees, and while having their hands held forward while being still and slowly moving. When equipped by Emerl, it will change Emerl's eye/visor color to green.

Additionally, much like Gamma himself, and unlike most characters' fighting poses, it will cause Emerl to blow upon being defeated (as well as causing him to use Gamma's "Initiating Recovery Mode" voice clip), causing damage to nearby enemies with a heavy attack knockback effect.

It also causes any physical move landed on Emerl to produce a metallic impact sound effect, much like when attacking Gamma the same way.

Emerl can randomly obtain this skill after participating in a fight with Gamma, either with or against it.

Trivia[]

  • E-102 Style is the only Fighting Pose skill that has a Power rating higher than one, as it is the only one to provide any obvious benefit to the user, barring the possible natural character-associated attack and defense boosts that can stack with the Attack and Strength Supports.
  • Guard Robo have their own variation of E-102 Style, but they do not have a voice clip warning.
  • E-102 Style's ability to explode after Gamma has been KO'd is a reference to Gamma's death scene in Sonic Adventure.
