The E-1000 is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. They are a line of mass-produced Badnik variants of the E-1000 Series and a part of Dr. Eggman's Badnik Horde.
Appearance[]
The E-1000s closely resemble E-102 Gamma. They have a round red torso with a large white vertical stripe, mufflers surrounding the pelvic area and with a white plate covering it, and "1000" written in black on their left side. They possess small, yellow platform-like heads with visor and green cylindrical eyes. They also have longs arms with black cylinders for shoulders and four points of articulation, red upper arms, and large cannons as forearms. They likewise have long red and grey legs with backward bend knees and large, black feet with two sharp toes and roller wheels on the heels.
History[]
Early history[]
Dr. Eggman seems to have created the E-1000 with guard duty in mind, as he deployed them as such in multiple locations during his bid to seize control of the Eclipse Cannon.[1]
Shattered World Crisis[]
- Note: From the readers point of view, this picks up from where the E-1000s' original timeline ended.
During the Shattered World Crisis, an E-1000 stationed at Crystal Cave was temporarily deactivated when Sally Acorn, Miles "Tails" Prower and Antoine D'Coolette came to find a Chaos Emerald in the Crystal Cave. When it came back online, the E-1000 attacked the trio as they were escaping, but was destroyed by their teamwork.[2]
Powers and abilities[]
The E-1000 are more dangerous than the average Badniks as it required the united assault of Sally, Tails and Antoine to destroy one,[2] though they are not near as powerful as a Super Badnik. They come equipped with a laser cannon on each arm which can shoot laser shots powerful enough to pierce metal crates. They are sharp shooters by design, suggesting they possess good marksmanship.[2]
