Ladies and... uh, ladies! Prepare for the bad boy musical stylings of... Dude-itude!

Knuckles the Echidna, "Battle of the Boy Bands"

Dude-itude is a group that appears in the Sonic Boom series. It is a rock band founded by Sonic the Hedgehog, Miles "Tails" Prower, and Knuckles the Echidna to ruin the evil plans of Justin Beaver's producer, Dixon.

History[]

TV series[]

Season one[]

The idea for Dude-itude was first formed by Knuckles the Echidna, having come up with the name in case he started a band. When Dreamboat Express found the counter-frequency to negate the mind control Justin Beaver's producer, Dixon, had placed on Justin and his fans, the group reformed into Dude-itude. Playing the frequency as a power rock ballet, Dude-itude freed all Dixon's victims. Afterwards, the group put on a good show for the adoring audience.[1]

Season two[]

Tails was eventually asked if Dude-itude could perform a concert on the other side of Seaside Island. After he agreed to this and got Sonic and Knuckles in on it, the trio packed their gear in the Dude-Mobile and left for the concert. However, the crew's trip got sidetracked by tourist traps, stops, the police, and the Bike Chain Bandit, much to Sonic's annoyance. Eventually, they got jailed when they were mistaken for the Bike Chain Bandit's associates. With Salty's aid though, who had been jailed for the same reason as them, Dude-itude broke out and cleared their names by catching the bandit after a wild chase and handing him over to the officer pursuing them. At the concert site however, Dude-itude learned that they were a month too early for their concert, which Tails had overlooked.[2][3]

In an effort to make baby Chumley, whom they were babysitting, fall asleep, Dude-itude put on a one-song concert in Tails' House in which they performed a rock-based lullaby for him. Unfortunately, Chumley did not like their number.[4]

Equipment[]
