The Drisame[1] (ドリサメ[2] Dorisame?), also known as the Drillshark,[3] is an enemy that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a mass-produced, shark-based Badnik model created by Dr. Eggman
Appearance[]
The Drisames' design is derived from a shark's. They possess turquoise bodies with gray underbellies, menacing cartoonish black eyes, turquoise fins, a gray and red propeller on their rears, a red bit on their sides, gill-like recesses next to their eyes, and a large gray drill on their noses.

In Sonic Advance, the Drisames appear as enemies. They are encountered exclusively in the underwater sections of Ice Mountain Zone.
In gameplay, the Drisames hide in the icy walls of the Zone, and, when the playable character approaches them, they will break through the wall and dive away. These robots are best destroyed with a Spin Jump, although any attack can defeat them. Also, upon their destruction, they will release an Animal.
Powers and abilities[]
Thanks to their design, the Drisames are excellent swimmers. They are also equipped with drills powerful enough to burrow through thick ice.
