Dragon Kingdom (as seen by the Iron Queen)

The Dragon Kingdom is a political body that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a region of Mobius distant from the Knothole Village.

History[]

Little is known about the Dragon Kingdom except that it is home to Mount Stormtop and its neighboring village. It was Tobor's responsibility to monitor the region for the Brotherhood of Guardians. In 3235, parts of the Dragon Kingdom were under the tyrannical rule of the Iron King and Queen, who ruled from their Iron Fortress. After a battle against Sonic the Hedgehog, Miles "Tails" Prower and Monkey Khan, the Iron King and Queen were temporarily defeated and chased off. (StH: #60)

The Dragon Kingdom was also the region of Mobius where the village of Leung Kar was located. Leung Kar had suffered over fifty years of the Yagyu Ninja pillaging its goods and terrorizing its people. In the year 3236, Monkey Khan managed to stop the Yagyu Clan in the act of a theft and chased them off, eventually returning all the loot they had stolen as well as causing their own robotic dragon to chase them away. (SSS: #8)

In 3237 the Dragon Kingdom was reconquered by the Eggman Empire and under the rule of the Iron Queen yet again. Despite this, the local resistance continued to cause problems for the Sub-Boss. (StH: #194, KtE: #16)
