Downunda is a location mentioned in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It was the alternate version of Downunda from Dark Mobius.
History[]
Downunda's early history was most likely largely the same as its Mobius Prime counterpart's. The point of divergence was when Knuckles became corrupted by his chaos powers and decided to conquer Mobius. After the Sword of Acorns ended up on Downunda, Nack the Weasel successfully retrieved it from there. Shortly after, Knuckles, now having assumed the mantle of Enerjak, sunk Downunda.[1][2]
