The Double Axle Combo is one of the Straight Attack Skills used by Sonic the Werehog in the Xbox 360/PlayStation 3 version of Sonic Unleashed. When performing this move, Sonic does two punches, one claw attack, one karate chop and finishes with a series of kicks.

Description

When performing this move, Sonic first does two forward and extended jabs with his left and right fists. After that, Sonic swings his right arm upward and around him as he slashes with it and follows it up by jumping up and quickly spinning horizontally around in the air before delivering a large karate chop to his opponent(s) with his right hand. From there, Sonic lands on the ground before finishing off by delivering a series of rapid mid-air stamps to his opponent(s).

The Double Axle Combo becomes available in the game when Sonic the Werehog's Combat parameter reaches level 6. To perform the Double Axle Combo in gameplay, the player must press / in quick succession. In gameplay, the fourth strike of the Double Axle Combo will break an enemy's defenses and leave the enemy stunned, allowing the player to better land some effective hits.
