Doctor Eggman is a boss that appeared in Sonic Runners. He occasionally appeared in every Zone of the game, and could be fought with any character.
Boss guide[]
During the game, Eggman functioned as a sub-boss in every Zone while piloting the Eggmobile. He appeared each time when the player ran a certain distance (500m, 1,800m or 3,500m). After the playable character reached the doctor, the latter would start fleeing, dropping Springs behind him. The player would then have to jump over them, as touching them would bounce them into mid-air backwards. When the player hit the Eggmobile using the Spin Jump, Eggman would become stunned, move further ahead and drop Rings, Super Rings, or even Red Star Rings. The doctor would then repeat the same pattern.
This sub-boss had a time limit for how long the player could battle Eggman. When time ran out, or if the doctor moved off-screen, he flies away and drops a Bomb that would explode and then transport the player to the next segment.

After the v2.0 update of Sonic Runners, Eggman would pilot the Eggmobile with a large pile of Rings. Before said update, the Rings were missing, and hitting the Eggmobile would not drop anything.
