Designed in the image of a real-world bat, the Dive Bats possess round and purple torsos, round a purple heads with cartoonish black eyes, white fangs, and triangular ears on top of them. They also have a pair of red wings each with white stubby hooks on their joints and a gray cannon barrel on the bottom of their torsos.
In gameplay, Dive Bats fly around in midair. When the playable character gets close though, they will attack by swooping down at them, inflicting damage upon touch, before retreating back to their original position to repeat the attack. Regardless, they are easily taken out with an offensive aerial move.
Powers and abilities[]
In addition to being capable of flight, the Dive Bats each possess a cannon that can be used to propel fireballs at their enemies.
