The Discriminators[1] are a group that appear in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. They are a team of gaudily-dressed supervillains from New Tek City in the Special Zone. They are led by Baron X.

Past[]
In the past, the Discriminators have had many battles with their archenemies, an equally bizarre team of superheroes known as the Justice Brigade, as well as the Chaotix, though their reason for doing so was simply because they say heroes and villains are supposed to fight each other.[1]
Heroes & Villains[]
The Discriminators would face the Justice Brigade for what they intended to be their final battle. The Chaotix and Sonic the Hedgehog would notice their fight and assist the Justice Brigade in fighting them. However, their battle was interrupted when the Tek City police showed up, forcing all three teams to flee to avoid being arrested.[1]
Trivia[]
- The Justice Brigade and Discriminators are intended as parodies of American comic book superhero teams, who (according to writer Nigel Kitching) seem to "knock hell out of each other for no particular reason".[2]
