The dinosaurs in spacesuits are creatures that appear in the Sonic the Comic series and its spin-offs published by Fleetway Editions. They are an unnamed alien race that seeded life across the universe millions of years ago. Even back then, they were incredibly technologically advanced, with the knowledge of interplanetary travel, the creation of life, and energy defence shields. It is implied that they work for some higher power.
History[]
The dinosaurs in spacesuits long ago constructed the Ring of Eternity so that they could travel to other worlds. On certain chosen planets (which had no intelligent life of their own), they created the Spark of Evolution, producing tiny life forms that later evolved into all the countless species of the universe.
One group of dinosaurs, led by the Commander and Professor, visited Mobius as part of a routine mission to create life. Amy Rose and Tekno the Canary arrived on the planet at the same time, as part of their journeys through the Ring of Eternity, and initially assumed that the dinosaurs were invading aliens. When the truth was revealed, the Commander explained their mission. Amy and Tekno left to continue their own journey.[1]
