The Dinosaur eggs[1] are objects that appear in Sonic and the Secret Rings. They are eggs from the dinosaurs native to Dinosaur Jungle, which are used for gameplay purposes.
Description
Dinosaur Eggs are eggs that are even larger than Sonic. They have a white shell with varying patterns on them, such as polka dots, stripes and stars. These patterns come in different colors, such as red, green, and yellow.
Overview
Dinosaur eggs are scattered all across Dinosaur Jungle during Mission 10. For this mission, Sonic needs to find a dinosaur egg and take it to its corresponding nest, which is represented by a post sign that displays the same color and pattern as the egg's. Sonic can place the dinosaur egg in the nest by walking through it or using the Homing Attack on it.
