The Destruction Trail is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a trail used to modify the playable character's appearance and boost their rewards.

Description

When equipped, the Destruction Trail takes the appearance of a textured Black streak that the playable character leaves behind them while they move around or surrounds them like an aura when they stand still. This trail stretches out from behind the playable character until it eventually fades away.

Overview

In Sonic Speed Simulator, the Destruction Trail is a collectible trail of the "Legendary" rarity. It can be unlocked at the Spin Wheel at the end of Metal Madness, When spinning this Spin Wheel, the player has a 1% chance of getting a Destruction Trail.

In gameplay, the Destruction Trail lets the playable character produce this trail's textured streak behind them as they move around. In addition, when equipped, the Destruction Trail will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up a Destruction Trail for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Destruction Trail will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can evolve a Destruction Trail by collecting five Destruction Trail's, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Evolving a Destruction Trail will combine the Destruction Trail's into a single evolved trail at level 1, with boosted base stats compared to the un-evolved version.
