The Destroyer is an object that appears in the Sonic Underground television series. It was a giant spaceship created by Dr. Robotnik and used during his takeover of Mobotropolis.
Description[]
Appearance[]
The Destroyer is a gigantic blimp-like craft with a crescent shape. Made of gray metal in various shades and with highly technological details, it has a large gondola in the shape of a keel, thick edges, and thin antennas on both the bottom and the top.
Features and abilities[]
The Destroyer is capable of flight and exerts a field of influence that can break down and reform the environment into an industrial wasteland in a manner of moments, like when it turned Mobotropolis into Robotropolis. This field is also deadly to fauna, enough to turn an entire forest into a dead wasteland.[1]

The Destroyer was deployed during Dr. Robotnik's takeover of Mobotropolis where it was used to turn the once great city into the industrial city that would become known as Robotropolis.[1]
Trivia[]
- The Destroyer is based on the spaceship that appeared in the Sonic the Hedgehog television series episodes "Blast to the Past, Part 1" and "Blast to the Past, Part 2", and in the Sonic the Hedgehog theme song. The two even served the same purpose of reshaping Mobotropolis.
