Desi-Ca[1] is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. She is a mobian echidna, the daughter of Pollu and Meri-Ca, and a casualty of the Angel Island Takeover.

Appearance[]

Desi-Ca is a young mobian echidna with red har and fur. For attire, she wears a tattered brown robe, and a pair of white gloves.[1]

History[]

Past[]

During the Angel Island Takeover, Desi-Ca was wounded during the invasion, causing her to lose sight in both of her eyes.[1]

Return to Angel Island[]

Hearing of the arrival of the legendary Avatar, Pollu and Meri-Ca brought Desi-Ca to Knuckles, in the hopes that he could heal her of her blindness with his "miraculous powers". However, Knuckles did not wish to accept his fame as the supposed "Avatar", and kindly sent them away, telling Pollu that they had the wrong echidna, and there was nothing he could do to heal Desi-Ca.[1]

After this, it's unknown what happened to Desi-Ca and her family. It can presumed that she was sent to the Egg Grape Chamber, or ended up in Albion after Enerjak's attack and was eventually imprisoned to a unknown location by Thrash the Tasmanian Devil's Warp Ring.

Relationships[]

Friends/allies[]

Personality[]

Desi-Ca is entirely silent, although it is unknown whether this is a choice on her part, or her condition prevents her from speaking, or if she is simply too young to talk.[1]

Weakness[]

Due to her wounds, Desi-Ca is unable to see, despite being able to open her eyes.[1]
