The demonic robots are a group that appear in Sonic the Hedgehog: The Movie. According to Dr. Robotnik, Metal Robotnik used them to invade his previously peaceful Robotropolis.

Design[]
The demonic robots in Dr. Robotnik's story take a humanoid form, not unlike Robotnik's guard robots but sleeker and without spikes, and a longer, alien-like head. Also like the guard robots, they have one spherical "hand" and one arm with a machine gun attached.

According to Dr. Robotnik, a battalion of the demonic robots appeared out of nowhere alongside Metal Robotnik. They attacked Robotropolis, eventually managing to conquer the city and drive Robotnik and his robots out.
The demonic robots do not appear outside Robotnik's story about the invasion of Robotropolis, the invasion having been invented as a ruse to lure Sonic the Hedgehog to the Robot Generator.
