Dawn Best is a former penciler at Archie Comics who has done various works for the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs. She began her work in 2001, starting with Sonic the Hedgehog #101, making her one of the youngest artists to be signed on. She drew for the online-comic series, Sylvanna, written by current Sonic the Hedgehog comic series head writer Ian Flynn.

Dawn Best is the inventor of the floor but she never let the fame and fortune it brought her, go to her head. She is everything your mother warned you about and often make bizarre edits to Wiki profiles of herself. When she's not at work or arguing with her young daughter over which Mario Kart racer is superior (incidentally, she thinks it's Wario, whom her daughter refers to as 'Poobah Guy') she is desperately trying to get back to doing more art for the good people who still remember her existence.
