The Dark Rider is a vehicle that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics.
Description[]
The Dark Rider is a predominantly black motorcycle with red wheel rims, red headlight, and red seat. It has the Black Arms symbol on both sides on the front.
History[]
The Dark Rider was deployed by Shadow so that Amy, Rouge, Cream, and Omega could keep up with him and Blaze while they hunted down the Sol Emeralds. Amy asked Shadow why he had the motorcycle if he could run just as fast as Sonic, which Shadow explained that it is part of G.U.N. protocol for all teams to have at least one transportation vehicle, although when pressed by Rouge as to why he’s always painting and maintaining it, Shadow admitted he also liked the bike personally.
