The Cyborg Smash is an Item Box power-up that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series
Description [ ] The Cyborg Smash's icon takes Rusty Rose 's foot makes the pink wave slash out, included 3-part of pink outline circle surrounding it.
Overview [ ] In gameplay, the Cyborg Smash can only be obtained at random from Item Boxes by Rusty Rose .
Once obtained, the player can utilize the Cyborg Smash by pressing its icon on the bottom of the HUD. When used, the user will fly to the air and increase the speed of the user for a short amount of time, the user won't hit obstacles and collect Rings as well as Dash Pads and Item Boxes . The duration of the Cyborg Smash is shown by the decreasing gauge on top of this power-up's icon on the bottom of the HUD whenever the Cyborg Smash is in effect. In addition, if the player swipes downwards while in the air from a Cyborg Smash, the Cyborg Smash will end prematurely, sending the player back to the ground in a smash attack that damages any rivals in the target area (same or adjacent lanes where the user deals), causing them to lose Rings and slow down momentarily. Even if the player chooses not to prematurely smash down, the character will automatically do so once the boost's duration is finished.
The Cyborg Smash can also be upgraded by leveling the user up to level 2, 8 and 14 respectively. For each upgrade, the damage dealt by the Cyborg Smash will be increased.
