The World of Skies of Arcadia[1] is a location that appears in the Worlds Unite crossover published by Archie Comics. It is an alternate Zone connected to the multiverses hosting Sonic's World and Mega Man's World. This world was among the many to come under threat from Sigma, forcing its inhabitants to rise up alongside the heroes of the Unified Army.
History[]
Worlds Unite[]
When Sigma sends several Mavericks to different worlds, Tidal Makkoeen attempted to set an Unity Engine on Crescent Isle, but the Blue Rogues defended the area from him, being finished by Vyse's Cutlass Fury. After the battle, Knuckles the Echidna and Quake Woman appeared and convinced the Blue Rogues to join the battle against Sigma.[1] While the heroes were away in other dimensions, the Sky Patrol was destroyed by Sigma and the Delphinus was used as a temporary base for the Unified Army.[2]

Trivia[]
- This is the reality where the Skies of Arcadia video game published by Sega takes place.
- Skies of Arcadia is the only non-Sonic franchise-aside from Mega Man-to have been featured in the Sonic the Hedgehog comics before appearing in Worlds Unite. This occurred as a result of Vyse appearing in Sonic Universe #45, an adaptation of Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed.
- Drachma's character and backstory are noted for being based on Captain Ahab from Moby-Dick, whereas Aika has been noted for having a similar appearance and weapon to Sticks the Badger.
